Intensive Kinēsa® Method Workshop
September 30 – October 4, 2026

This autumn, you have a unique opportunity to participate in a 5-day intensive Kinēsa® Method Workshop, developed by the renowned and internationally recognized Feldenkrais® teacher and therapist Lavinia Plonka (USA).
Lavinia is an incredibly vibrant, witty, and creative woman, and every class with her is a rich and inspiring experience.
This workshop serves as the foundational step toward potential certification in the Kinēsa® Method and may also be credited as 25 hours toward RSME–ISMETA (International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association) accreditation.
Discover the unlimited potential for joyful living. Kinēsa® is the key to unlocking the power that resides in every movement you make.
This comprehensive learning system teaches practical strategies that you can apply every day to create functional habits, overcome anxiety and other emotional obstacles, build resilience, and awaken your authentic, empowered self.
What is Kinēsa®?
Kin = Kinesthetic
Learning through movement and listening to the body's choices within the movement process to make more functional decisions that support optimal health.
Ē = Emotion
We are emotional beings. The choices you make in movement both reflect and influence your emotional state, and vice versa. Through Kinēsa®, you will develop emotional fluency — the ability to regulate emotions effectively in everyday life.
S = Sensation
By paying attention to sensory experience, your movement becomes the result of conscious choice rather than compulsion. Sensation is the gateway to clear intention, purposeful action, and expanded possibilities.
A = Attention
The Latin root of the word attend means "to stretch toward." Attention is the mind's ability to direct and apply its energy intentionally. The result is greater mental clarity, enhanced focus, and more effective action.
Inspired by the teachings of Moshe Feldenkrais, Kinēsa® combines the power of slow, meditative movement with contemporary research in neuroscience, somatic practices, emotional regulation, and insights from spiritual traditions and mythology, all integrated with functional movement.
The Kinēsa® Method offers a practical and transformative approach to personal growth, helping you cultivate greater awareness, resilience, freedom of choice, and embodied presence in everyday life.

Why Join the Kinēsa® Method Workshop?
Most of us spend our lives primarily "in our heads" — under pressure, dealing with stress, and often disconnected from our bodies. The Kinēsa® Method offers a different approach: a gentle yet profound return to yourself through movement, breath, awareness, and nervous system regulation.
This workshop may help you:
- Develop a deeper awareness of your body and its signals
- Release chronic tension and stress
- Improve the quality of your movement and posture
- Work with emotions in a safer and more conscious way
- Support nervous system regulation
- Cultivate greater inner calm, resilience, and authenticity
- Discover new possibilities for movement, ease, vitality, and self-expression
Drawing inspiration from the principles of the Feldenkrais Method®, Kinēsa® integrates somatic movement, attention practices, breathwork, and guided self-inquiry. It is neither about performance nor therapy in the traditional sense. Rather, it is an experiential process that can transform how you perceive yourself — your body, your emotions, and the way you respond to the world around you.
The workshop is suitable for anyone seeking greater physical and emotional well-being, as well as professionals who work with people, movement, health, education, coaching, or personal development. No previous experience or special physical ability is required.
